    Recipes for Younger Shotgunners Needed.

I called the sporting goods store yesterday to see if they were in yet. They said they would call me back later that they just recieved an order from Fiocchi. Sure enough, they called me back two hours later to tell me they had them. I've been too busy to get them. Most likely I'll get them...

I posted a thread on June 18th. I wanted to read something that was in it, but it's not here. Are older threads deleted? I only see 2 pages of threads.

    My Grandfathers old Browning...

Thanks guys. Keep the information rolling! The pictures don't show some of the flaws or "character" that this gun has. The wood shows some wear on the edges, and it looks like the reciever was cleaned with steel wool or something. No matter, the gun is priceless to me. It is one of three...

    My Grandfathers old Browning...

Hey John, Yes it has a "G" over the serial number. This is from the Browning web site. "1957 Serial Numbering System changed again. M=Standard Weight. G=Light Weight. M22000-M85000 G23001-85000 " Here are a few pics...

    Recipes for Younger Shotgunners Needed.

Smitty, I had to order the Fiocchi 20-Lite Ultra Low Recoil shells. I went to the nearest sporting goods store and they said they were making an order to Fiocchi on Monday. He said it could be 3-4 weeks! I went for it, ordered a case for +/- $50. I can't wait!! I'm more excited than my son is.

    My Grandfathers old Browning...

Hey folks, I have a few questions about this old gun. My grandfather passed away before I was born but when I came of age my father gave me this gun that belonged to his father. I have had it know for about 20 years and only shot it a few times. It is a Browning A-5 Light 12ga. 2 3/4". The...

Smitty, what do you guys shoot with these shells? Target practice or hunting? Does anyone know if this would be a suitable dove load? Fiocchi *20Lite* Ultra Low Recoil 20ga. 2 3/4" Dram=Lite 1075fps 3/4oz. # 7 1/2 Hi-Antimony Lead *20 Lite not designed to function...

    Recipes for Younger Shotgunners Needed.

This is great information....but for those of us just getting started into "shot gunning" I was wondering if someone could make a list or chart for what size shot/loads to use for each activity, like skeet or trap, doves, quail, ducks.... and so on. Also what size and brands already loaded for...

Used Youth gun stock for 1100

Thank you for the kind words Steve. I appreciate it! It really is ALL about my kids. I started my son out with a single shot .410 to learn gun safety when he was 6. He has developed into a very responsible little fellow, now 9 years old. I took him deer hunting twice with a slug in the...

Used Youth gun stock for 1100

Thank you both. But...I have beat my head against the wall enough.... He tried to shoulder the gun again tonight, not only is it too long but too heavy as well. I would have to spend $400 to buy this 1100 from my cousin, then $$$ for a stock to modify and the gun is still too heavy at 6 1/2lbs...

Used Youth gun stock for 1100

Can someone steer me in the right direction. I would like to get a used wood stock to fit a Youth Model Remington LT 20 1100. It currently has a synthetic stock. I want to cut it down to make the LOP better for my 9 year old son. Where can I get one and how much do they run? Thanks.
