    Beretta Tomcat Issues!

    Mine was pretty accurate but had stovepipes every clip I shot through it. Beretta sent me a new mag and had the same problems. It also hurt my hand to shoot it. It would "slap" my hand sharply no matter how I held it. My wife shot it 1 round and sound "NO. I hate it" I sold it.

    9mm 1911...

    Thanks for the replies. That springfield looks nice! One of the reasons I was asking was that I have read that the 9mm in the 1911 form tends to have some reliability problems. Was that only in the older guns or was it maybe brand specific or Is it just as reliable as the .45 caliber in the 1911??

    The ruger 22/45 in 51/2 barrel is the best shooting pistol I have. Very accurate and reliable. Have you actually shot one? Maybe you could alter the grip somehow. Just my .02

    phoenix hp22??

    somebody has one for sale on here I think. ;) I think they are a good value for the money. Just learn about all the safeties and shooting will be much more enjoyable.
