Five years ago the course involved a Kimar made Beretta copy for familiarizing people with the controls and handling.
The training on the range was accomplished first with weapons modified to "cycle" with air pressure and a laser to identify hits, followed by live fire of the M9,M500, and M4...
FNP Series offer the light weight of the Glock/M&P with the manual safety and de-cocking feature, all made in the US, by a company we already have multiple contracts and a long history with.
They have the rails, optic mount and the suppressor threading already installed.
That's why I think eventually the M9 will be lumped in with 1911's, Glocks and SIG's.
There's about to be a whole generation of veterans who only know the M9, and no matter how much we dislike them, there's always something to be said about that which you grew up with.

Happy shooting!

Realistically there shouldn't be an issue at all, the manager was supporting our sport by giving him ammo.
I'd take a few jokes at my expense for some ammo any day of the week. It seems we sometimes get out of hand with the sensitivity and need for positive reinforcement. If they didn't like...
A lot of disdain for the M9/ 92 series comes from the military, from what I have seen the sidearms are not always well taken care of, or get worn. This coupled with the not always wonderful quality of military ammo leads some people to lose faith in the Beretta design.
They are both...
