Your observation is different than mine on the Surefire. I have a Sparrow and a Ryder and to me the Surefire is quieter, with less FRP.
One can also eliminate FRP by spraying canned aired into the suppressor (like keyboard duster).
It sounds like the castle nut was loosened and the extension was started unscrewing before backing the end plate off the receiver, I gorilla'd my AR like that and stripped the threads on the tube. I bought a new milspec extension from Bravo Company, no sweat. No real upgrades except the VLTOR...
I spend more money at Cabela's than any other gun/ammo place. Their service is great and selection is as well. I've never had an experience with any of their employees that was negative, ALWAYS helpful, friendly, and willing to go out of their way.
Their Visa card is very convenient also.
I don't know what we'll actually see, but I'd love to see some threaded barrel options for the 10/22 takedown.
I'm also hoping Lapua will release some more ScenarL bullets, 6.5 and 30 cals please.
Yes. For rifles I only use Hodgdon/IMR temp stable powders.
In handguns it seems I only have Alliant in the house out of 6 different thpes, but that's a coincidence.
Does it have to be rifle length gas, would intermediate (between mid and rifle) be ok? Noveske has NICE barrels.
