    The faces of THR

Nice, Huey! You look like a true adventurer. I don't have a picture handy, but I assure you all that I look just like a supermodel. No seriously...

Thanks, Justin! That is exactly what I needed to hear.

DHS Insider on federal plans, including gun confiscation

HAHAHA I think I'll invest in Reynolds Wrap, for sure! No more of that off-brand for me! Husband just assured me that this site is notorious for conspiracy theory, black helicopter, UFO stuff and I should take anything posted there with a grain of salt. :scrutiny:

DHS Insider on federal plans, including gun confiscation

Have you all been following this? Canada Free Press reporter has a contact in the Department of Homeland security...It's all very Deep Throat-ish, but it sounds like something from a movie. It gives me the creeps, but certainly makes me nervous about RKBA and makes me want to secretly stock up...

    First handgun

Hi, Lynn! I'm a female with small hands and I use a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. I have never shot anything else, and I do quite well with it.

    My 15 year old son

Bless his little heart. Good job, Trent. (Why am *I* proud as if I had something to do with him? I don't know, but I am.)

How to Use a Flashlight in a Tactical Situation

Thanks for remembering us gals, OregonJohnny! I do carry a maglight in my apron pocket and one in my purse. I like the idea of little ones as zipper pulls and on key rings, too. But I would like to investigate some of the specific ones mentioned. I need a light (as in not-too-heavy) one and some...

A level headed article from the WSJ

That was a great article. Like that it mentions that the media ignores cases where armed citizens have prevented or curtailed these random mass shootings, too! *sharing*

    Cooler heads are speaking out

@Sheepdog I have not read Grossman, but I do know video games can affect people in both positive and negative ways.. (here is a summary an author did about a year ago about some of the things we're discovering) but how is that different from anything else in the world? There has to be something...

Young Lady Gives Thoughtful Words on RKBA

YouTube Video: You Can't Ban Evil (Sorry, I don't see how to embed the video) This young lady speaks to the basic reason for our right to bear arms in such a calm and deliberate way. I wish some anti-gun folk in America would take the time to listen to her.

Small TX school district to allow teachers to carry

Threefortyduster: I meant that stat to show that there have been no ACCIDENTAL shootings, which is the basis for some of the argument against teachers carrying on school premises.

NWCN reports Clackamas shooter committed suicide after being confronted CCW holder.

Easybakegunclub.com has an article on this which may help. They spoke directly with the CCW holder (Meli) and other witnesses.

    Wives and guns

As a wife who has only recently developed an interest in this, I enjoyed this thread immensely. *clap clap clap*

Time to make a plan !

I also agree with Trent and bluEyes. Our right has been whittled down so much already. But I sorta agree jakeraney87...not on preparing what we are 'willing' to give up, but ways to help anti-gun people see our side without sending them into a knee-jerk, blinding GUNS-ARE-EVIL rage. Are there any?
