Thanks all. I have emailed Ruger and should hear back from them Monday. With it being a new gun I think I will just let them fix it rather than tearing it apart and voiding the warranty. I will keep you posted on what they say and thanks again.

Safety is off. Ammo used in my buddies 10/22 works fine. All magazines work fine in his as well. No click when trigger is pulled almost feels as if the safety is on.

Hello, New to the forum and any help is greatly appreciated! So here is the deal, I got a brand new Ruger 10/22 takedown for Christmas and took it out today to try it out. I have tried several different brands of ammo as well as a couple different magazines with no luck. It won't even dry fire...
