Did you check to see if your reloads chambered in your rifle before you brought them to the range?

Does anyone have this manual and data? I don't wanna buy #8 just for that, I already have #6 and #7. I already have the Accurate and Ramshot data, thanks in advance.

Most reloading mauals from the bullet manufacturers (which are much more in depth and realistic, IMO) list 59gr as max for H4350, if I were you, I'd start at 56gr and slowly work up to 59 in 1/2gr increments.

I chamfer because otherwise my bullets get scraped during seating, which might not be a big deal, but I try to make as accurate ammo as possible. I brush the case necks, tumble the dirty brass, resize, wipe off lube, clean primer pockets, chamfer, tumble again, prime the brass, powder the brass...

Sorry, you're right, I was just replying to Freedomfighter but I did bring it up, I too am a potential Savage buyer, depending on how they remedy this problem.

I understand what your saying Freedom Fighter, but if Savage doesn't make good on this, why the hell would I want to do buisness with them? Remington has been putting faulty triggers in their rifles for years, knowing full well of the problem, and fixing it would've cost them pennies per rifle...

I understand that 1858, but that doesn't mean you didn't buy old stock new in the box, now does it? I'm on your side, I'd be pissed too, matter of fact I think I might get my nephew a Howa, but we'll see how this pans out first though.

Ok, just got off the phone w/Savage tech support, and they said the older Weather Warriors did have a reciever that was lower in the front than the rear, the current Weather Warriors have a level reciever. They recommend using the Weaver 6146 for a one-piece base on the older rifle. Sounds like...

Either way I'm not really diggin' it, because it doesn't really make sense, nor is it a desireable feature, I'd much rather have a level reciever to mount a scope on.
