I'd say that is excellent accuracy for a Surplus rifle but you would more than likely see some tighter groups with Hand-Loading & installing a Timney or Huber trigger.

Ruger 5 & 10 round magazines were the most available magazines out there until Ruger decided to start selling the 20 & 30 rounders to the general public and not just to LEOs. I guess you can say they are REAL collectable seeing there are tons of them out there ;)

There are alot of variables when it comes to AK's and when buying them. Do you want a fixed stock or folder ? 7.62x39 or 5.45x39 ? Is your budget $750 total or do you have some wiggle room to account for shipping and dealer fee's if you buy off the net. $750 puts you just in the price range...

Howdy All, New member from the Central Coast of CA. Huge Outdoorsman, grew up on a ranch and love to camp, fish hike, and hunt.

Ruger factory mags & PMI's are the only Mini-14 magazines I recommend if someone is looking for quality mags. Buy a new factory mag, it will be a cheap and easy fix if that is the issue. Good Luck
