I have a browning bps stalker in 10ga with a 28'' bbl. to me that is a goose gun. :D:D recoil ain't that bad my mossberg mavrick 88 w/rem. shur shot heavy dove kicks twice as hard as it does.

Thanks for the advice.The gun has a very tight fit. The threads on the barrel and receiver are in excellent shape as is the rest of the action. Yes i do plan on keeping it this way with the poly-choke and i plan on using the gun some this dove season where i can shoot lead. Can i shoot steel...

this year i got: 1971 remington 870 wingmaster , 1895 spainsh mauser made in 1896 (7x57) , 1895 german mauser (7x57) , and this weekend i will be adding a nother mauser in 30-06 to the collection. And that might be it for this year. maybe:evil:
