I am an idiot that purchased an awesome .40 full size m&p from a bunch of liars. Excellent gun, definitely my favorite range gun. 500 rounds of el cheapo ammo and not a single problem. DA or SA I don't care... I keep my finger off the trigger until I want to fire the gun, it's pretty simple.

Yeah, I thought $50 was ridiculous. I figured they would be cheap because their guns are typically $100 less than other local shops. With the link Jorg provided I found one locally that will do $10 for a handgun, sweet!

I am looking to purchase a gun online and asked my regular gun shop, which has really good prices on guns, what their transfer fee would be. They told me $50. That seems pretty high to me, or am I just being cheap? What is a fair fee and what do you guys pay? If any South Florida guys read this...

Balog - My local gun store just quoted me $835 for a 340 with CT grips. I haven't had much luck finding to many used ones or to many places online offering new ones for sale (cheaper than $835 with CT grips that is). I'm purchasing mine in 2 weeks so if you find any deals out there let me know!

I have enough problems with people breaking into my vehicle without putting stickers on it to advertise what I got. That being said I don't leave ANYTHING of value in my truck unattended. Specially not a gun, even if it's in a safe, the right thief will get it and take it.
