Thanks for putting that up. Murray does awesome work...and is a nice guy too. I'm very fortunate to own a bunch of his knives...all of them are working works of art.

It's been a long time since I was able to go to Blade. I still rememberdinner at Fogo de Chao, Cracking bull whips in the parking lot and I still carry the Benchmade I got from John when you were working a booth. Good times.

I agree that gpknives.com and newgraham.com are excellent dealers. The wait for a knife from them wont be long at all. Benchmade makes a lot of fine knives. I have the mini-grip and one of the osborne designed knives...the 943.

The mini-14 has a huge aftermarket parts availability....accuracy is not that great. The 77-357 can also handle 38 special to lower the shooting costs. The pistol cal limits shooting distance to around 100 yds. Both can be bought in stainless....thus avioding the dreaded black gun aspect.:p...

Koa is a very nice hardwood. It can have a fantastic iridescence to it. Mostly comes from Hawaii. I wish I could make it to blade show but it's just not going to happen. Gotta work. I remember dinner at fogo de chao with John and a bunch of other kuhkri fanatics.

Did you recover the bullit? Maybe you should encase it in plastic as a reminder. :) Easier to look at that as a reminder than dropping trousers.:D Glad it didn't do much damage.

Awesome photo's...I'm jealous. That bear paw is huge! I've always wanted a big bear claw. But down here in CA we can't buy or trade for them, they have to be gifted ...or you can shoot your own and I can't afford that.:(
