My EDC is a SW99c 40. It is the same as the P99c as, except the rail is milled off for a better carry contour. With the flat magazine floor plate it drops into a front pocket on jeans or cargo pants. I have no qualm caring it in a pocket with out a holster in the DA mode. I sure won't do that...
I am 71, own over 30 handguns and some long guns to include a fully tricked out AR15 and a 12 gage riot gun. I have started giving guns to my kids and grand kids. I still carry daily and hope I will know when to quit. I have a son who is a police officer and he will know when I should give up...
Texas DPS gave up Sig 45acp for the 357 sig round because of it's ability to shoot through auto glass. I can't see them going to 9X19, they probably called off the M&P more because of the caliber than the malfunction problems. They probably had an internal revolt. When you are the only...
You should have called TABC about the 51% sign and the bar would have been in more trouble than you. The law is very specific how the sign must be posted and inside the door is not it.
With the amount of body armor that is on the street now days head shots and pelvic shots are more important. A ruptured Femoral Artery will bleed out very quickly
At one time it was mail fraud to process a credit card charge before the order shipped. I don't know if the law has changed and it is too much trouble to look it up.
That is not a safety, it is a decocker. Flip it down to decock and back up for carry. Safety not needed on a TDA. I traded a Gold Cup for a 645 in the 80's and the 645 was more accurate than God Cup. I still have a 4506 and a 4516, IMHO the most reliable 45's ever built.
The 559 was designed to shoot the 9mm of the time, which was the 124 grn NATO, which is very close to todays +P+. Shoot what ever you want to, it will take $50,000 worth of ammo to wear it out.
Crimping over the front of the driving band could lead to bullet setback under recoil. As said above use 38 spl brass. There is no difference in the strength of the brass the 357 case was longer to prevent the magnum rounds from being fired in older 38 spl revolvers.
