Depends on the version. The 3 inch lew Horton I have seen go for near or even over 1k for nib (bottom)

I lay the hammer block in place then set the grove in the side plate on the hammer block. Then slide the plate up the the correct position making sure the hammer block stays in the grove. Then tap the plate down and screw it tight.

Probably around $650-700. The original grips are missing and they usually run around $150 to replace.
