    Coffee a handicap?

Does regular coffee consumption in the morning that sometimes results in an addiction a handicap in a night break in? Speaking for myself, I know I am disoriented and not too sharp before I've had a cup or two. I'm considering breaking he habit because I feel I would react poorly in the...

    what advantage does an 8-shot .45 have over a 16shot 9mm??

This is a very relevant point. Either a small 9mm that holds fewer than 10 naturally or a normal sized gun in .45 with 6 to 8 rounds. Very frustrating when I want a USP in 9mm but would feel silly with its neutered capacity.

    Glock 36 Frame Question

Great points. I would also prefer if the Glock 36 just had a full grip like the 19 and 23 compacts. It would be the same size, and with a less awkward magazine change.

    Glock 36 Frame Question

Looking at the Glock 36, it seems to hold many things in common with the 26, 27, 30, and a few more. Especially that the grip is shorter to accommodate flush fit magazines for better concealment. The only problem is that I have never seen Glock 36 flush fit magazines. Has anybody else?

If you lived/live in a 'free state' and you could pick One Fully-Automatic firearm...

I would have an HK USP in 9mm with a threaded barrell as well. And then I would live in a free state that allows greater than 10 round magazines. And then I would live in a free state that allows SBR's. And then I would live in a free state that allows suppressors. And then I would live in...

    642 Club Part Three

You fella's have humored my braggadocio very well! But the thing is, I like to shoot, and have been excited all week to try this guy out. As long as I can afford it, I am going to keep shooting the 642 as much as I can. And no, I don't think the Blazer and Remington UMC were +p, at least it...

    642 Club Part Three

Took my 642-1 out to the range today for the first time. Shot 150 rounds of Blazer and UMC through it. The recoil is heavy! A two handed grip in either stance was enough to spread the recoil between my two hands but one handed and off handed hurt a lot. I definitely want to try shooting with...

Identity and Date of Manufacture of S&W Revolvers

Wow Radagast! Thank's for the knowledge. I'm just glad I don't have a lock, but I definitely will ask S&W when it was made. Thank you for the input. Round

    642 Club Part Three

I will try and get some cool pictures up this Saturday after I go to the range for the first time with my 642-1. It is awesome? I think so. The trigger is so heavy but I have been doing some hand exercises so it is not that bad. Anybody else use the Gripmaster? What I like thus far is that the...

    The Danger of Crowds

So, I learned that there is an increased risk of getting hurt if I go to a very crowded place and some sort of emergency happens. Note: Avoid very crowded, small nightclub, where the band has pyrotechnics.

10 Round limit on a public Range

I have a range near me that says you can only load 10 rounds into a magazine. This rule makes sense to me because here in NY, greater than 10 round magazines (unless made before 94) are illegal! This is a 50 yard indoor range that charges $17 per hour, per person. On the other hand, there is...
