I don't think that not being on the list makes a gun safe. I think that the guns on the list are certainly banned and that in addition to that guns having one of the "assault" features such as flash hider, pistol grip, etc.. are also banned.

One of President Obama's executive orders is to provide incentives to increase the number of school resource officers in schools so apparently he is not opposed to the idea of having armed personnel guard schools.

Thats cool, if they don't want to be associated with firearms people then every single customer that owns a guns should stop doing business with the bank. I imagine that they would lose more than half of their customers and have to close their doors if that happened.
