Here's some more information...
I sent an information request to Bill Sherman's campaign via his website inquiring what Sherman intended to do to ensure citizens would be "safe from gun violence." His campaign manager's response, received by me today, appears below...
Bill Sherman is a candidate for King County Prosecutor and he is a gun control advocate and also in favor of another assault weapons ban. Yet another scary politician.

I'm cannibalizing my Bushy M4 (14.5") for a project and am wondering what the market value of the upper and lower with complete parts and BCG, and barrel with front sight assembly/gas tube is worth.
All one would have to do is add a stock and handguard assembly and they would have a complete...
Does anyone have contact information for Barnett? I'm in search of a SPR barrel turned by them on a Douglas blank. I conducted a google search to no avail. TIA!
I currently have three:
Benelli Nova 20 ga. (black)
Benelli Nova 12 ga. (camo, 26" barrel)
and the newest addition which I picked up on Friday...
Benelli M4 Tactical (love it so far!)
Guess this here is a Benelli household!

Some answers given cited Universal Clays, which is a Hodgdon powder in the "clays" line, but is different. Hodgon lists Universal at #22 on the powder burn rate chart, and Clays is #5. There is also another...

The historical reasons for the grip design were driven by battle conditions. This from Kuhnhausen's 1911 manual, vol. II:
"Battle conditions were the...
Springfield standard 1911 'loaded model' retails for $678 and at that is a good deal. It has Novak combat sights, adj trigger, full-length guide rod, nice wood grips. Check it out on Springfields sight or better yet go hands on with one at a gunshop.
Good luck!
McCormick power mags -- the springs are made by Wolff and they have a metal follower. Never, ever had a problem with them and they are priced less than Wilson.
$400 is not so good a price that should compromise what you really want. If it was $100 I'd say yes (and to never get caught carrying it because it would likely be 'hot'). Don't sell out for a small savings; buy what you want.
No contest here....Springfield XD 40. I recently bought the 'Tactical' model with teh 5" barrel and love it. I've owned Glocks and think the XD is superior in many ways; including price.
Try and rent several guns at a range so that you can 'test drive' several makes and models before you...
