Boy Howdy I sure am glad I don't live within rifle range of your house. :) Here's my 10/22, that my Dad gave to me a couple years ago. I had a Marlin 60 at one point (maybe 17 years ago) that I couldn't hit ANYthing with. I think the previous owner stepped on it or chopped a tree...

I'd like to get my daughter her first rifle on her bday and until recently had dreamed of giving her a Ruger 10/22. Well they have a bunch of plastic parts on them now (trigger guard, barrel band) and just don't have the same appeal they used to. What's the new "standard" .22 plinker that...

If you're going to do that, do a couple or three of them. If you ever have to go to court to prove you had the idea first, judge opens up your "proof" and then it's gone because it's no longer sealed.

Things not to do with birdshot. I wish someone had been there to tell me not to shoot that rusty ol' 55 gallon drum out in the field with birdshot. At point blank range. The center of the shot went through, but the peripheral shot came right back at me. Ow. :o

If I had an 870, I'd look at getting a Happy Face Cap. I like #6 best.

They tried to get me with that one, I just gave them a sly smirk and didn't respond. 10 minutes later they got me with pounding on the track park with a rubber mallet lookin for "weak spots". :o
