I've got a CMMG lower and parts kit, T6 M4 stock, and I'm getting an RRA mid-length 16" A4 upper. Should have about $900 in it once I put a rear sight on it. Buy a case of brass-cased ammo for anywhere from $330-430, and spend the rest on GI mags or P-mags, your choice.

You can buy long guns in other states. Ever take a look at the sign inside the gun case at Wal-Mart telling you what state you're in, who can buy there, and who can't?

My parents let me have my guns at home from the time I got a safe to lock them in. I had a key but they still said unless it was an emergency that they were not to be taken out and messed with unless they knew about it before-hand. They trusted me not to blow a hole in the ceiling or myself...

I want to take one of Yeager's classes really bad, I just don't have the money being as I lost my job last week. I'd like to do it when it's cool outside too, but you don't get to pick the temperature the day of the fight either... I just do enough shooting in 100 degree weather down here :)

While the group size may deter one mugger, it may invite another thinking he could get five or six times the normal amount of loot if he had a gun and you didn't.

Beyond the safety issue, it's extremely annoying to stand there and listen to "Join the church of ____" or "Buy ___ magazine for half price and help our ___ group" for 10 minutes while trying not to be a complete hole and slamming the door in their faces. :)
