    Looked at the face of the extractor... I now believe this extractor was reworked from a .303 extractor!? Some finish polishing helped alot. Thanks nick! I thought of that just after the polishing.... kind of stupid not to have thought of it before!!! But with the extra finishing and cleaning...

    Removed the extractor again, polished the sides of the spring mades sure no burs in the extractor pocket! Spring reset with retension nipple in its hole! Extractor NOT touching barrel pocket at all!! It still will not snap/slide over the rim of the case!:cuss::banghead:
