Well then, you haven't met the guy that works at the local walmart closest to my house. :)
He would be welcome at the firing range anytime. IIRC, he is a member at a local shooting club too. :D
I passed by the local walmart today, so stopped in to see if it was the same here as others have reported. Not a single AR in the case (although when I was there on Sunday there were at least 4 AR's in the case at regular price). I asked the sporting goods person (that has worked there many...
I might have to go check out my local walmart in a bit and see if they are doing discounts like that. I might borrow from the piggy bank if they are that price. :D
Are you looking for this?
I haven't seen that size in a while, but have seen it in 333 and 555 round quantities.
and
I wonder if Winchester stopped making the 525 round size.
Not asking for a specific location - but it might help if you mentioned a state. Reason I say this, is that I've bought cci velocitors within the last 6 months here in OH, but that isn't going to help if you live a few states away. :)
Also not sure if it would be cost effective for shipping...
The majority of walmarts in the Dayton, OH area still have firearms for sale (and most have some AR's in the case). Only a couple of the walmarts don't sell firearms and for some reason never did (although they sell ammunition). :)
I just picked up one of the 80% arms easy jigs. Would you still recommend the DWP611 router? Also any experience with a polymer lower in the jig (I noticed on one site I had read on showing the jig would work with both aluminum and polymer lowers).
The hi-powers that AIM has/had are decent hi-powers for the money. I bought one of the batch they had in March. Sure it isn't a 100% finish, but I didn't buy it for the finish, lol. It has some finish wear and small scratches - but for a shooter or for a carry piece - that won't matter. They...
Thinking that all of the .22 ammo is going up for sale on gunbroker is incorrect. Sure there may be people that buy it to sell on gunbroker, but not everyone who buys .22 does that. The .22 I buy doesn't go on gunbroker (or any other site), it gets shot by me and my family. Amount of .22 sold...
Sportsmans Guide sent out an email showing .22 in stock. I didn't order any, but wanted to give a link in case anyone wanted some http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/500-rds-armscor-22lr-36-grain-hollow-point-ammo?a=1820486 (it figures out to 9.1 cents a round buyer club price)...
You don't see glock vs. hi-power threads - because we all know the hi-power is the clear winner. :p :D
Seriously though - glock vs, 1911 or vs. whatever else - it is like having a ford vs. chevy thread or an AR vs. AK thread. Each weapon is good, but each person usually have their...
Okay, Okay....I used a bad comparison.... :D
Only problem I ever had with that Makarov was from using promag magazines. Using the factory/KBI mags, it works with no problems/works excellent. So for a comparison - - it runs better than a________. :D
Brass2grass - so how does the ATF response correlate with what you had posted earlier?
Also notice in the ATF response that markings aren't required but they recommend it to aid in investigation or recovery. So pistols and AR lowers aren't registered in every state. Whether one is making an...
