I have a red dot on 1 handgun, and it's nice, of course I'm new to the pistol dot thing, and training is an issue.
I'm more of a red dot on rifles guy... but on those rifles... especially defensive weapons... I'm 100% sold.
Used them on my last couple deployments, and the shear speed of target...
I keep this on my nightstand.
If some pesky animal needs to be dispatched in the middle of the night... no need to wake everybody up doing it.
Then again, I also have this leaning up against my nightstand.
Not a hand gun... but much better at dealing with the other kinds of pesky "animals"...
I'm no legal mind, and I'm not even sure I have this in the right place, (please move thread if needed) but I'd like to know how the hell this kind of crap can fly in an open court of law...
I've gotten tired of trying, so I'm kind of an ass if anybody askes me that now.
I'm likely to spout off with some smart-ass remark like...
"If you have to ask me that... no matter what I say... you ain't gonna understand it, or agree with it... so just don't worry about it."
Given today's leftist leaning society (in general... I know nothing about his state) He may have ended up in court anyhow, (like Rittenhouse) but I'll agree that this would have been the best all-around outcome.
I'm sure whoever he helped would testify on his behalf...
Although were he to...
It is always the time to buy more ammo.
It stores well, keeps it's value, and is looking more and more like it may be needed here before too long, yet become unavailable to buy.
I saw this video before on another forum, and had hoped the good guy had lived to testify in court. Sad to hear my hopes did not pan out. I'd much rather a happy ending with a dead bad guy... but such is life so often.
Keep in mind, we do NOT have the start of the incident on film, so we do...
The only PCCs I have are lever guns. I have one each in .357 mag & .44 mag.
They are both Chiappa 1892 Alaskan Take Downs, the .44 mag being stainless, and the .357 being the blacked out version.
I could count my Winchester 94/22, but then again... EVERY .22LR chambered rifle/carbine...
1. Good quality gunbelt.
2. Good quality holster.
3. T-shirt 1 size larger, untucked.
Done.
I promise you that 90% (or better) of the people in the world are too engrossed in their stupid phones to notice a slight bulge in whatever outer garment you have on, should it happen to print.
I have...
No photos of the job... but there are youtube videos of how to do it...
That's how I learned... lol.
Installed a KNS adjustable gas piston in the Gail. (AKA the "Hebrew Hammer")
Of course now I have to go shoot it, and adjust it so it's "just right".
I (like Grunt) went with the Gen 1 in 5.56. I'm not a fan of spiral fluting for one, plus I found mine second hand for a good price.
A light weight PA 1-8 LPVO, M16 sling, a suppressor mount and she's good to go. 10 rd Pmags ain't that expensive.
