Reloading bench construction help (low ceilings)

Thank you for that info. I'm a little confused still - Dillon's website says that the XL650 is 38.5" with the casefeeder installed, and the strongmounts add 6" right? So that'd make the entire machine 44.5" right? How much vertical space do you need to remove the casefeeder?

Reloading bench construction help (low ceilings)

I've decided to get into reloading since I'd like to shoot a lot more for the same amount of money. After doing a bunch of research, I settled upon the Dillon XL650 and purchased it with accessories for 9mm, .40 and .45. So, I've mostly assembled my bench and am at the point where I want to...

There's a general "what you should buy, newbie" thread,

... here - http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=238214 but there doesn't seem to be a similar thread for what brands or specific versions of equipment for the beginning reloader. Why do I ask this? Because I'm interested in starting reloading. So, what are your recommendations for...

New silencer, fun & scary comments

Congrats on your new plinker! I have an AAC suppressed Ruger Mark II that I love plinking with because it's quiet enough that it doesn't sound louder than a pnuematic nail gun. It's great for getting out in the country. Unfotunately my Pilot .22 suppressor for the Krinker Plinker is quiet a...

onestopknifeshop.com, 6 week wait on knife

Ok, I just went through my records today. In the last 3 months I have 2 orders for Gerber AF Coverts, one for a Michael O, who requested the order be canceled if the knife was out of stock (which it was, and an email was sent notifying this), and an order for Glen S who switched from one knife...

Left handed holster for 1911 with enlarged mag release?

Ok, well is there a reliable ambi mag release on the market for a 1911?

Left handed holster for 1911 with enlarged mag release?

You know what, that's horse****. It is not a "safety" issue, it's just poor design on the part of holster makers. This isn't for IPSC or sporting events, this is a defensive carry gun, and all the kydex holsters index off the trigger guard and barrel, covering the mag release button should...

Left handed holster for 1911 with enlarged mag release?

Someone please give me a hand with this, I'm about at wit's end here. I've been carrying my 1911 more of late, and have run into a significant problem - since I'm a lefty, I've put on an enlarged mag release button to help facilitate reloads. Well, unfortunately it seems that nobody makes a...
