Hornet loads My apologies to all, should have read the rules. Let me say in my defence that i worked these loads up very carefully and anyone wanting to duplicate should start below the maximum book load and proceed accordingly. Always play safe.

Yes, i agree, but these loads have been very carefully worked up and have proved themselves in my rifle. Over 1000 has now been fired in my CZ 527. I do not advocate anyone duplicating these loads without working up with care.

Hornet loads Hi, 40 GN V-Max or 40 GN Sierra Varminter ( .224 ) over 12.5 GNS of H110 or 13 GNS of Lill Gun gives me an average of 3050 FPS. Both excellent on foxes out to 150 yds. I prefer the V-Max as its more ballistic ( rides the breeze better than ) the Sierra but very expensive over here...
