The slide serrations are the only area on mine with any significantly sharp edges. To a casual touch they weren't so bad, but they were rather annoying when used to cycle the slide. I lightly stoned those edges & corners and it made a noticeable improvement. The rest of the gun is fine...

The "Nob" and Choate's handle are the only options aside from the factory handle at the moment. Mossberg has an oversize handle listed in their 2010 catalog, but it isn't available yet. I'd love to have one of MAX100's handles for mine. I hope he makes up another batch of them soon.

I use a razor or X-Acto blade to retain the detent. Insert the spring and detent, depress with the blade, and slide in the pivot pin. The blade is thin enough that the pivot pin can be inserted into the receiver freely. As a precaution, and regardless of the method you use, you can assemble...

I ordered two LPKs (with standard grips & triggers) on March 23rd and received them on April 13th. I've heard/read that kits which include the two-stage trigger and/or a Hogue or Ergo grip are taking longer to ship than those with the standard parts.
