I'm glad you still like the original holster you got from me. I hope it is serving you well. I'm making one like it for a customer for a 3" Model 60 right now but LHed.

Get the one that feels right to you.
My choice is the Mossberg 500 because the safety is in the "right" place and makes for one less thing to think about when I need to shoot. You can also tell very quickly what state the gun is in with the safety only 5" away from your eye.
I have a 1930 Western Arms Corp (really Ithaca gun) and with normal steel like mine I can shoot any 2 3/4" load I want including buck and slugs without a problem.
Keep the gun because everybody needs a old SXS shotgun that will ALWAYS work when you need it. Besides it feels right in your hand...
