I bought a Beretta Silver Pigeon II 28 ga. Been reading in M. McIntosh's book about the 28 gauge and how many (most) and built on 20 gauge frames. Anyone know if the Beretta 28 is a true 28 frame or just 28 ga barrels fit to a 20 gauge frame? Thanks. Good shootin.

Boating related stores sell nice convenient dehumidifiers that are cheap ($8 or so) that are disposable after they fill up. Ya fill up the plastic tub with the dehumidifier and it collects moisture in the bottom of the tub. They seem to work. It has helped my humidity issue in the safe.

Although my first reaction is to say report it, I can't really think of a good reason. Has a crime been committed? The prospect of the BG runnig and telling the cops doesn't seem likely. I say don't report it.

Thanks for the input folks. BTW, my average is better with 28 than any of the other 3 gauges. As far as ammo cost, the local reload guy charges $5 more a flat for 28 and 410 than 12 and 20. I like the idea of a 28 but the ammo cost will add up over the long run so reconsidering a 20. Thanks

My wife shoots skeet with me periodically. I want to get her a 28 gauge semi or O/U. She won't shoot any 4 gauge events or anything...we just want something she can shoot with me for an afternoon. She doesn't shoot a whole lot so I don't wanna spend a lot of $$$. Any recommendations?
