CB rounds are very quiet from a rifle, noisy from a pistol. The CB round is available in different case lengths (Short and LR - but both are basically primer only loads). Very quiet - less noise than a pellet gun generally. Pick up a box and test - you will like the results.
Finally purchased a used NAA Mini .22 LR (Not the magnum frame version). Very good mechanical fit, and very well made overall in my opinion. Have always wanted one, and was lucky enough to spot a used one the other day. Except for a little necessary cleaning, I'll call it like new.

For cleaning after a trip to the range - yes. Makes things a whole lot easier to get really clean and go lots faster. In between range trips, no. Just a good wipe down with a lightly oiled rag keeps...

FYI, the CB shorts make far more noise out of a revolver than they do from a rifle. Significant difference.

S&W 637 Airweight here. Showing lots of "character" and scuff marks from a few years of carry, but still functioning just fine. Not a target shooter or beauty queen by any means, but you just can't beat these lightweight models for a carry choice IMO. - Steven
J-Frame IWB 4:00, no change from normal carry. Shirts are usually long enough that I can sit on the tail of the shirt to hold things in place. The small windshield on mine keeps things down to a more tolerable level than you would think though. (1985 Honda Magna 700 Sport cruiser). Steven
