I sent the pistol to a gunsmith recommended by the fine gents here. I am still waiting for it as I have other things done to it. It will be a while before I will get it back stglock

Thank you all for the responses and kind comments. I decided to send it to Don Williams as recommend by Bill Z and other gents, instead of sending to SA, despite the lifetime warranty. Hopefully, I won't have to wait long. Regards to all, stglock

Jim, thanks for the comments. This is a Springfield factory part that came with it since new 6 mos. I did a search and it seems that Springfields has a problem on these parts. This is pinned btw. I have since decided to send it to a reputable gunsmith to have it drilled out and replaced...

It is the rear leg. And that presents the big problem. I was able to remove the front without any problem as it was pinned, as you suspected. Thanks, stglock

BigD, How extensive was the adjustment you actually made on the EB barrel when you installed it I am interested in getting EB Barrel for my Kimber TLE.... All my best....

I just wanted to mention that Tuner helped me a lot diagnosing the problem on my pistol. It turned out that my extractor was not tensioned properly. I did have to replace it afterwards after noticing a "cut" on the extractor 's claw , front knockle.
