I do not believe Hornady "promotes" the use of the #1 shell plate for 45 ACP any more. They say the #45 shell plate is for 45 ACP, apparently they have had too many complaints on the #1 shellplate and .45 that they are now only recomending the #45 plate for use with .45 ACP.

My prayers are with you as well. I can relate somewhat, my youngest son was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was 2. He is now 5 and getting along great. The good news is the little buggers are way tougher than us old guys/gals, and as sad as it is to see a small child with such a terrible disease...
