Reliability, Revolver vs self loader
I think the comparision between the two type varies depending on conditions. Where a handgun is well maintained and carried under clean conditions with light use, say a bank guard, the Revolver will be more reliable. In a lot of fast competition shooting the...
revolver vs. auto
Dienekes,
Thank you that you took the time to write such a detailed post about your experience. It is very interesting.
For me the 'moral of the story' is that a wheelgun is more reliable than an auto. What about wheelgun vs. 1911? You said you had no issues with your...
thanks
Friends,
thanks a lot for all your inputs. From what I read it seems to me that revolvers are also not 100% reliable (like autos), even if fed with good ammo and kept clean. Some guys say autos are more reliable than revolvers, some say the opposite. I personally believe that a...
From all the wheelguns that you have, is there anyone that has not been always 100% reliable (I mean gun-related problems, not ammo-related problems). If yes, what exactly happened?
Thanks,
Svetlio.
very encourageing
I had no trouble keeping up with them in terms of extraction and reload times. I do not know exactly how fast the reload times were, but with 144 shots fired (all timed courses of fire) I never ran short of time.

revolver reloading
Drawing from a holster, shooting and reloading against the clock with shooters in all of the other lanes certainly opened up my groups, but it is a lot more fun than just standing there facing a static target and having all day to hit the ten ring. Besides, being the only...

Thanks for your comments!
Maybe Israeli army picked Glocks, cause they are easier to use (SfA vs. DA) and maintain? I don't know. In the 1980 US Army picked 9mm - a strange decision in MHO. For me 9mm is a duck caliber. So I do not take Army choices too serious.
Another question - is a...
I have a friend who owns a Jericho, a Glock and shoots a CZ as well, all in 9mm. He claims that the Jericho brand is better than the other 2 brands generally and that it is more reliable, works better, shoots better.
Can this be true?
Thanks,
Svetlio
FAR
Sounds like ultra thick walled cases and straight blow back operation.

Yes, that's it. But is it really better, if yes - how? Experience??
thanks
Dear fellow gunners,
Does anybody know anything about the new FAR system presented by Tangfolio (anything more than what is on their website), or have any pactical experience with it?
Thanks in advance,
Svetlio

hi cap 10mm ??
I'm a 10mm fan. 9.5 grs of 800X behind a 220 gr. LTC at 1200 fps. I'll take 16 of those over 6 44 Mags any day of the week.

Cortland,
what guns are there, offering higher capacity of 10 mm, other than Glock 20? I know Colt make 10 mm 1911s, but...
