I use corbin jackets and then run them through a jacket maker. If you use base guards, soft lead is the way to go. There won't be anything in the barrel after the base guard goes through. Thanks for the heads up on the site. It was fine before. Now I have to figure out what to do with it...

It seems the jackets support around 62.5 in .22 cases. .22 shorts are good 45s. .22 mags make + 1oo, but weak wall support, no bonding and a lot of throw aways.

I have the barrel back and put it together. It shoots great. We tested it side by side against a spring powered pellet gun. With subsonic ammo, it is quieter than the pellet rifle.:cool:

one way to stop that is to buy a dillon case gauge for about $8. At times my resizing die would come loose and I had the same problem. A cheap way to check and easy too.

Clark is right I have presses mounted to steel plates and am able to move them off the bench to another room when needed. That's why I reload. Sometimes I need ammo and the store isn't feasable.:D
