9 mm FMJ Point Blank Gunshot Wound (Warning - GRAPHIC PICS!!)

I don't understand all the retarded comments about the Glock, and pulling the trigger for take down. How many people here dry fire their 1911 for practice? probably quite a few. But that's OK. If you empty the damn gun before you disassemble, you won't shoot yourself. It's really that simple.

    Smooooth Triggers....

The Colt revolvers, especially the Pythons, are absolutely things of beauty, but the older S&W revolvers are known for their sweet triggers stock from the factory. I have a 629 classic from 1990. When I'm in a quiet room and I cock the hammer, I get chills when I hear that crisp multi-click...

    High-end Pump Guns

I think the Remington 870 Wingmaster is a solid, well built, and great looking pump shotgun. Pumping the action, you can hear and feel the tight smooth operation of quality. For an all around pump shotgun, the 870 magnum express is in my opinion hard to beat, and will shoot for years and years.

What is the last gun that you bought?

The last gun I picked up was a Marlin 39A. An old model from the 70's. Just the way I like them.

The 1911 - "for experts only"

You must have some pretty lame 1911's. Also, A Glock trigger has the same trigger pull first to last shot.

The 1911 - "for experts only"

Hey Zerodefect! Your mistakin. You see. You think you cycled the Glock with perfection because you saw holes all over the target. But the 1911 left just one hole in the target, so you assumed something was wrong. Don't spray and pray Glock daddy. Get a real gun and hit your target.

9 mm FMJ Point Blank Gunshot Wound (Warning - GRAPHIC PICS!!)

I don't think pulling the trigger for take-down is that big of a deal. Drop the magazine, rack the dam slide a few times and clear the chamber, then disassemble. Regardless of the gun or take-down procedure, you get sloppy, you get hurt!

    Just how accurate are handguns...

I thought my 1911's were very accurate until I shot my Buckmark 22. Wow! Talk about accurate.

    Buy American!

It sure as hell is a lot easier to build quality into a project when your overhead is much less expensive than the competition. Also the overpaid union employees don't make it any easier. Pretty soon we will get are potato's from Japan, not IDAHO!!!

    Buy American!

rhtwist! What I mean about taking American jobs is this. When foreign companies build factories in the U.S. they have no pensions to pay out, they have no insurance for employees to pay, and the worker wages are lower. Having such a small overhead allows the foreign companies for example, to...

    Buy American!

I think it's a joke letting foreign companies run here in the U.S. They pay cheaper wages, they don't have the pensions to pay out, and they don't have to pay for insurance because their government covers that. How in the hell are American companies going to compete in that kind of market...

    39a Failure to extract

Boosting the hammer is what MrBorland speaks of. With the hammer cocked, apply forward pressure on the hammer and pull the trigger, but don't let the hammer slam down. After doing that several times the grit and creep are usually gone. Follow that with clipping about a 1/4 of a coil off the...

    Sig Mosquito vs. Walther p22

Browning Buckmark! Very accurate, very nice single action trigger. I love sigs, but not the Mosquito.

    Best 1911 for the money

(besides a fancy name and a huge price difference, what does the Ed Brown have that the PT1911 doesn't.) Well, I guess that's true. Why buy a mustang when a pinto will get you to work and back. Boy! Am I a dumby.
