I use Hoppe's No.9 and have recently discovered discovered Tipton's Truly Remarkable Bore Solvent. The Tipton's will scorch the nose hairs right out of your nasal passages, but works very well, a nylon bore brush is required.

Never had a problem with a 60 from 2002-2005 many many rounds downrange in a saltwater environment. 240 is too heavy and can break some the pintle mounts used shipboard. Navy doent really use 5.56 at sea either.
