I've used both and never had any issues. But I exclusively use the #41 primers simply because I can get them pretty cheap and they have mangun strength for getter igniting my ball powders.
That sounds very uncharacteristic of my experiences with Xtreme. I've purchased thousands of their bullets and have never had an issue. Their shipping times have slowed some since switching over to a differen method of shipping, but I'm willing to wait for their excellent product.
I sent my REM 700 SPS to GA Precision for some upgrade work and got it back last week. I wanted a precision rifle that I'm still able to hunt with, so weight was taken into consideration. Here's what I ended up going with:
- Bartlein 26" barrel, #4 contour, 1:11.25 twist
- PTG Serengeti 30-06...
I use a Dillon 550 for my pistol stuff and 223. Using the RT1200 makes sizing and trimming 223 a snap.
I just picked up a Forster Co-Ax single stage press to do my precision stuff.
Xtreme switch from USPS to UPS. Probably because it's cheaper. It definitely takes A LOT longer to receive my shipments now from UPS. But I can't really complain when the shipping is free.
