What does your permit allow you to carry?

Missouri allows anything that is legal in the state to be carried. You can even carry a sawed off shotgun under your coat if you want, as long as its 18in.

Need help determining as shotguns value.

While doing some horse trading, I can across a shotgun and I'd like to find the value. Can anyone help? Its a L. C. Smith Model 0 with an ejector. It was manufactured between 1894 and 1898. I'd say its about 85 to 90%, any chance anyone would know a good reliable source to value this shotgun...

At present I am using all federal .223 comercial brass, I have picked up some lake city but haven't done anything with it yet. That brings me to my next question, where is the crimp I keep reading about and what kind of tool di I need to remove it? Thanks for all the help!!

    whats the difference .223 vs 5.56 ?

Just plain sacry replies!! :banghead: Some of these replies are just plain scary!! For reloading purposes, a .223 will hold a bigger charge because it is thinner walled then a 5.56. In a rifle round, a .223 is designed for a maximum of 55000psi at detonation, a 5.56 is designed for 75000psi...

New to reloading, starting with .223/5.56, have a few questions.

Just decided to get into reloading recently because I got a good deal on a Lee anniversary kit and I’d like to save some money on ammo. I know Lee’s not the greatest, but it’s enough for me to get started and decide if I want to do this more. So, here's what I've bought so far. Lee...

AR, AL, TN, IN, MS, MO: any CCW quirks I should be aware of?

As long as you have a CCW that Missouri accepts, you can carry anywhere except some gov offices, even if they have a sign, the worst they can do is ask you to leave. Then, you can put it in the car and go back in. Missouri is pretty pro gun so i wouldn't worry about it here. Oh yes, and no bars...

    Gun "Turn-In", Chicago IL 8-15-09

I'm going to stop in, I have an old AR7 with a broken stock and bad safety, it still actually shoots, just a piece of junk. Paid $25 for it, but hey, its an "Assult Rifle"!! Haha, suckers! going to find some more junk and take it with me!

    Do NOT Carry Locations

Same here in Missouri, if you have a CCW and are carrying, the most they can do is ask you to leave. If you take it to the parking lot, and put it in the car, you can even go back in. Thats specific in the law here.

    Robbed--What Now?

I install alarm systems as a benefit to my customers, it’s not my primary business but it did give me a great resource for extra income and access to cheap parts. Here’s what I did, I installed my gun safe in a large walk-in closet (Utility room will work), I then installed a separate alarm in...
