I recently shot a box (100 rounds) and had three fail to fire. All had good fire pin hits on the primer, just no bang.

I recently heard an interview on Gun Talk with Nick Ecker of Charter Arms. He said that his godfather Doug Mclanahan invented the hammer block safety. he opted not to patent it, making it an open design for all because of the safety. He worked at Ruger and HiPoint, then founded Charter Arms.

I lucked out and found one at a small gun shop. 24" barel. I put a nikon m223 4-12x on it. It is grouping best with lighter bullets 50 - 55 grain.

Hello from Texas. 12 year Army vet. I like to shoot cowboy action, long range, some shotgun (sporting clays), and tactical pistol and carbine. I reload (bulk handgun and precision rifle). I believe that the 1911 is perfection and that golf courses are a waste of a perfectly good rifle range.

I have a savage 24 in 222/20 gauge. A useful truck gun. I am considering having it rechambered in 223 for cost and availability of ammo.
