Interesting thread - but old I think that slug guns, designed for bench rest shooting would do pretty well at extended distances for a Black Powder weapon. They fire a solid paperpatched bullet with a hard lead nose piece and a soft lead body.

I live in New Jersey. State Law requires you to transport a firearm locked in a case and not accessible to the passenger compartment. I drive a minivan. How do I comply?

This kind of garbage DOES have legs. New Jersey first instituted the "Smart Gun Bill" and also, I believe, instituted the "Assault Rifle Ban" first. Hopefully, we will have an auspicious decision by SCOTUS which will permit us to move forward dismantling these crackpots laws in the future.
