I have to agree with simonriece ....... I wouldn't give $30 /1000 for unsorted cleaned brass that is the average price at the Inventory reduction sales at this quote
When I acquire a new rifle or handgun my first investment is a thousand or 2 empties once fired from ONCE FIRED BRASS or THE BRASS MAN and set of dies or on are occasion new brass from one of the online dealers
haven't used store bought ammo in at least 10 years with the exception of rimfire:D
I had the same problem with a bunch of Speer .357 Sig brass. about every 10 cases it would pull the decapping pin out (RCBS)
Wound up chucking one up in the drill and turning it down with a stone until the problem stopped
Have used them all the CCI shot capsules, roll my own .45 with the RCBS Dies, Really miss the Old Thompson Contender Hot Shot capsules in .357 and .44 , made for a dandy squirrel load......
the rice or grits sounds like fun have to try that on dragonfly's
7.62 blanks make a fine source as a starting point if you roll your own 45 acp snake shot.... thats all i have used for 30 years but with the cost of the dies sets now days most likely no one would take up that process
Powder is somewhat plentiful ......some of it is a bit pricey.... manage to accumulate around 60 lbs in the last 6 months..... depending on the dealer primers are around in most flavors in the $30 to $35 range accumulated 12000 in the last few months
who cares if they are blems i moly them anyways
I buy all the blems i can get my hands on.......unfortunately don't need any from Midway i have got a few thousand noslers and several thousand sierra's from their outlet
