Couldn't you get a 33rnd mag then build a block to put in the mag to make it a 30rnd mag? I know guys in CA that do that. Just make sure it is semi-permeant.

I got some cheap wolf .40sw ammo I think it was aluminum 1 out of 5 was doing that I got rid of the ammo it was factory ammo just real bad stuff. this was about 7-8 years ago I have not bought wolf pistol ammo since that stuff. (well I did get alot of 7.62x39 but that worked fine)
I just sold my P22 last week I got a ruger mark III 22/45 it is factory threaded I wish I would have done it years ago. Sold the P22 for 300 got the ruger for 350. I am soooo much happier with the ruger

What do you plan on doing with the rifle? the reason I ask is if you plan on target shooting I would go with something else. I have a Weathby Vanguard in .270WSM I got for hunting long range (AZ) and it works great for that, I would feel safe taking 500yrd shots with mine. Now for the ugle ammo...
Buy it I got one two or three years ago you can load it up and it will keep it's shape will worth 2x what midway sells it for.
