I had one for my G26 when they first came out, and to make a long story short... they suck... bad The retention on your belt it way too much by design, and the finish looks like crap. It stayed on the gun for a few days then came off

Zero Concealment Systems has a fairly fast turnaround time I have two of them and they are just as nice as a Raven

Old Faithful holsters are the best bang for your buck IMHO I have one for my P229R and it's great, not as nice as my MTAC but just as comfortable

I got my GF a P238 scorpion and both she and I love the thing Right now it has over 400rds of JHP down the pipe with zero malfunctions Great sights, light recoil, great trigger, great night sites... what's not to love?

If concealing is not a issue, then I see no advantage for the P229 I have both, with E2 grips, night sights, and SRT on both. The P229R serves as my CCW while the P226R paired with a TLR-1 serves nightstand duty and competition riding in a Safariland 6280 light bearing holster. I love them...
