Hunting bullet equivalent of Nosler 168 grain .308 CC bullet

I'm going to step out on a limb here and suggest you try Swift Scirocco 165 gr. Slightly better BC (advertised) than the Nosler CC. They will probably be hard to find. There are lots of 165 gr bullets that would probably be good such as Nosler's Accuubond and Sierra's Gamekings. But the...

CZ 527 impressions and 22 Hornet reloading questions

On question no. 4, more use will smooth it up. Just keep shooting it. If you push your bolt forward with your thumb (still holding the bolt handle with your inger) you will be surprised how easy it is to push forward. Oh my, how I'd love to have one of those in full stock.

Load data for Hornady .277 cal, 120 gr SST bullet

... in .270 winchester. Looking for something that (sort of) duplicates velocity and performance of .25-06 with 120 gr bullets. None of my reloading manuals have data for 120 gr in .270 winchester. There is probably info in the newest Hornady manual which I don't have. EJ

    Who uses LEE?

I have bought several sets of Lee dies over the last 2 years and can't find a thing wrong with them, except the O-ring locknut deal which sorta works, but I prefer the Hornady lock ring setup. Most of the time, I just reset the size dies when I set up. Not a big deal since, I'm not loading for...

Have you ever thought about getting out of reloading???

My first post here... I don't think shooters like we are really expect to save money (as defined by not spending it), but rather to extend our shooting hobby and be able to shoot more than we might otherwise. In my case, reloading has actually cost me quite a bit of money over the years...
