I thought you might find this link about RWS 9mm ammo helpful. It concludes that "RWS 124 gr FMJ 9mm ammo is a solid, reliable shooting round which can be purchased at reasonable prices. We will also be adding RWS brass to our list of brass which can be reloaded many times with confidence."...
The top on mine is 38 1/4 inches from top of bench.
AND you need an additional 4 inches of clearance to remove the case feeder from its mounting post.

Bill Morgan on YouTube has numerous videos on reloading, particularly on setting up a Hornady Lock N Load AP. Excellent videos.
This is the video that answers your current problem and your primer issue as well...
Regarding question number 1, Bill Morgan's YouTube channel has a 7 or 8 part series about setting up the Hornady LNL AP press, but he also has a 60 + video series about beginning reloading, which also contains information about setting up a Hornady LNL AP. Video 44 in that series, linked below...

I am not an expert by any means, but I shoot lots of commercially made hard cast bullets in 38 special and 44 magnum. I use Bullseye for my normal...
You have received great advice. My only addition is to download and read the PDF from the link below. It is about lead bullet casting but answers most questions that will crop up if you shoot lead.

I had difficulty getting lead bullets that were conventionally lubed to feed reliably. Others have had better success. I will try again in the near future with lead bullets that are powder coated.
Hope this helps.
If I understand your question correctly, you are asking about situations where something prevents the slide from going all the way into battery and the unfired cartridge cannot be ejected. If this is the situation you have an unfired round in the barrel, and it would never be safe to attempt to...

There is no reason to buy the stuck cast removal tools from RCBS, etc. All you really need is a 2 inch long bolt and matching nut with 1/4 inch threads, a tap with matching threads, a few washers and a socket...
I have used the HSM 200 grain SWC in my XD45 with good results. I have switched to another brand of 200 grain SWC due to lower cost, but the HSM bullets were fine.
My load is Bullseye at the lower end of the Lyman range you cited. Make sure you verify your OAL and powder charge independently...
I use these templates, printed on an Avery label.

The label goes on the inside of the lid of the Plastic MTM boxes I use.
