    Excellent info! I eagerly await results of your trials with the tubes. I'm especially curious how much difference the double sided hole makes. That seems like a long overlooked performance opportunity. What Crosman(s) does that beautiful trigger fit?

    JC Higgins (Sears) 799.19200 2017 replacement plunger seal Original circa 1963 air tube Spring compressor at left made of 5/8" conduit. Note the twisted ends with quarter moon shaped tips . These are ground to fit the spring so the arms are less tempted to spread.
