When I first started carring off duty (mandatory) I was like just most people and thought every eye was on me. I'm sure some were because it was a 4 inch Model 19, couldn't afford anything else at the time. After a while you you'll feel lost without your weapon. Congratulations!

I prefer the most protection for my weapons offered by the hard case, but sometimes the soft cases have their uses, such as a shoulder strap.

Ditto on the Breakfree Collector. It is very good for long term storage.

Have yet to find any kind of a deal at a Pawn Shop and very rarely go into them anymore.

I have used weapons with the magazine disconnect for 17 or 18 years and have learned to live with them. They have all been issue weapons. Still don't care for the PC reason they are there.
