Let's see some of your favorite SA revolvers!

Those grips are really something else, beautiful :). Who made them?

    .45 LC vs .357

Good, cheap fun! Was a great way to start loading and made thousands of accurate, reliable rounds :) With a couple loading trays, or even one, doing batch work it really wasn’t THAT much slower than single stage loading with measuring each charge out. Also, nice to have a kit to bring to the...

    Opinions, Rocky Mountain Reloading bullets

A reliable expanding bullet for short barrel 38 special might be a hit, given the difficulty of finding them. The .357 smileys I ordered are superbly consistent and I’m stoked to load them up!

Loading some RMR Smileys in 38 Special

Thanks AJC1, appreciate the info the the true blue. I’ll put some of these smileys in some 357 loads with true blue. And, thanks rperyam; for the 38 loads, I hadn’t thought about 148gr wadcutter data, I guess because I was focused on the jacketed aspect of these. When I had bullseye left, I...

Loading some RMR Smileys in 38 Special

I’m preparing to load up some RMR Smileys I ordered based on the high road love for RMR. I’ve been googling and searching for load data and haven’t found a ton, so I figured I’d just post and ask for some opinions/experience. I’ve only loaded lead and plated before and I have HP-38, Titegroup...

    J-Frame Pocket Carry

I held off on getting a RASC for my ammo strip because of the cost. I’d advise biting the bullet and getting it. I love my RASC and it makes loading from a speed strip easier (better grip) and faster (quicker access).

    J-Frame Pocket Carry

Pocketing a j frame is not a bad idea, ignore that junk. I have tried many, and the tec-Grip from Blackhawk is excellent, drop $20 bucks on it and have it tomorrow. BLACKHAWK TecGrip Ambi Pocket Holster 2 in Barrel J Frame_Concealment_40TP03BK https://a.co/d/gIAKvzF Also, I highly recommend...

    Jim Scoutten RIP

Sad; I have great memories while growing up, of watching him with my Dad.

    Decline of the American Rifleman

Not going to comment on the quality of the rag’s recent work, as I haven’t partaken in it for a while. I know plenty of millennials and Gen-Z’ers who care a whole heck of a lot about attention to detail, proof-reading, and the even the correct use of firearms nomenclature. As a whole, they...

    Been playing with my doodie

Sight looks nice! I just put a big dot in my HD shotgun. How’s you’re POA vs POI?

    .45 LC vs .357

You can get quality factory 45 Colt for $35-$38/box (50) right now (Flip ammo, Ammo Inc. brand, made in WI, I think) and buying all new components except brass, reload 45 Colt for about $21/box (50). [LPP ~$80/1000 @LGS, Powder $32/lb @ LGS, Bullets ~$50-60/500 all over) If you want big, old...

    Social media gun arguments

Yes, mainly for the purpose of those reading, not expecting those posting/arguing to ‘un-dig’ their heels from their stance. It’s important to have the discourse for those ‘on the fence’ or still undecided (whether they realize it themselves or not) to make their own minds up. I don’t worry...

SAA malfunctions for him but not me

Does it have the new retractable firing pin safety? Some people have reported issues with such equipped models failing to fire, and there are reports on various forums of those owners being told they are “pulling the trigger too slowly/smoothly.” No firsthand experience, but this is what I...

    Stuck Bore Brushes

So, it’s safe to use a polishing compound like glitz in a bore? That kind of makes me nervous. Isn’t a polishing compound removing the tiniest amount of metal each time you use it? It must be abrasive to polish, right? Just curious
