    Gun Safe Lock Question

Excellent. I really appreciate your advice. I'm glad to hear that it's a rare thing and really makes me happy that I stuck with the mechanical lock, even though they are a little less convenient.

    Gun Safe Lock Question

It covers travel, parts and labor.

    Gun Safe Lock Question

No, it mentions nothing about maintenance. It says it covers all adjustments, repair or replacement, but won't cover any damage done by unqualified personnel or abuse. In fact, nothing that came with the safe says anything about any sort of lock maintenance at all.

    Gun Safe Lock Question

Correct, I bought a Champion safe.

    Gun Safe Lock Question

I just purchased a new gun safe and I specifically chose one with the 'old style' dial lock because I've read about so many people having issues with the e-locks after a few years. Anyway, my safe has a Sargent & Greenleaf dial lock and I can extend the warranty on it from the standard 5...

CPP -= crimped primer pocket=- Your solution?

I use this Hornady Primer Pocket Reamer. It's slow, 100% non-automated and it was $8. If I weren't so dang cheap I'd buy a Dillion. http://www.hornady.com/store/Primer-Pocket-Reamer-Kit-Sm-1-Each/

State & Local Illinois Officials Spar Over Order to Make List of Gun Owners Public

I did a quick search and didn't find this anywhere, my apologies if it's already posted but it should be a serious concern for Illinois gun owners, and everyone who values their privacy. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/03/02/illinois-officials-spar-order-make-list-gun-owners-public/

Reloading for ar15 vs mini 14

Thanks for the pics of the deflector and the gas bushing idea. I had given some thought to trying to modify a brass catching bag like I've seen on a number of ARs, but I had just never gotten around to messing with it, now I've got some other avenues to think about.

Reloading for ar15 vs mini 14

Got any pictures of that brass deflector for your Mini? I'd really like to hike less while finding my Mini brass!

    Powder valley shipping rates

PV is very honest with their shipping prices, if they weren't they wouldn't have so many fans, here and elsewhere. That said, you can just give 'em a call or drop 'em a quick email and let them know exactly what you are wanting to buy and they can give you the exact total with shipping.

    Ammunition prices

Actually metal prices have been going up steadily, at least that's what I've been hearing from just about every source I can find on the price increases. Powder Valley has posted up some information on upcoming price increases from most manufacturers and if you go to the reloading page on...

    Thinking of selling Kel-Tec P3AT & S&W 638 to fund a G26 or XD-3"

I love my CZ 75BD and as I said in another thread I'd take a serious look at the CZ 2075 RAMI BD if I were looking for a compact 9 for concealed carry. That said, I do carry an XD subcompact .40 and I've been very happy with it, so I'd recommend the 9mm version with no hesitation. I looked at...

A Can of Worms... CCW in 9mm you thoughts

Well the nice thing is you'll have plenty of choices; probably too many unless you narrow down some criteria! I'll toss out my suggestions, but I think that all the guns listed would be worth considering. If it were me looking for a compact 9 for carry I'd be tempted to pick up a CZ 2075 RAMI...
