Having owned both, K-31, hands down. Nicer overall gun, and if you reload, the K-31 uses common .308 bullets.

I'm on AR #19....they're like bad pennies.... Build one, shoot it, get bored, rinse, repeat.... Keep the spare parts and the bulk of your mags, you never know when another will turn up in your safe.

Depends on who made the pistol...there is one company that uses a cut down carrier, can't remember who for the life of me right now though... Most use a standard BCG. ETA: yay google....GSE uses a modified carrier...

Not really.....the OP stated he hasn't even shot his....how does he know he has a problem before he uses it? It's all conjecture until then....

Ok....I had to go look at mine....I have a "336" and have shot roughly 1K through it, never had a problem with brass in the face....news to me. That's the problem with the internet....everything's a problem, until it's not. Go shoot it and see what happens.

Dumbest thing I've done in the last decade was sell mine....I doubt I'll find one for $99 again....sigh.... They are great rifles!

My FIL has an AA kit for his G21, runs well with ammo it likes, but it is finicky. I was thinking of getting a kit for my G19, but stumbled on a MkIII 22/45 as part trade...it has eaten EVERYTHING I've put in the mag, Fed bulk, thunderbolt, CCI, PMC moderator, random "*** did that come from"...

Sorry guys, it really was just dirt....I was all excited thinking "How did I miss that!"....looked closer and it was just a smudge of grime....it is weird that the picture makes it look kind of like letters, I assure you that they weren't.

rcmodel: Thanks, hand made works for me, kind of what I expected, but thought I'd ask here. Now...to make a sheath for it..... Odd Job: Nothing...there was a bit of dirt that wiped off and some casting voids/pits in the pommel, but nothing anywhere as to inscriptions.
