    Undersized Flash Holes

Please foregive me if I missed a previous thread on this subject but I just encountered several cases in which the Boxer Primed flash holes in 5.56 cases are undersized. I replaced the de-priming pin and the new one is straight. The cases are boxer primed and not Berdan primed. The case head...

    Determining TRUE reload costs

Instead of law maybe Liberalwithagun should study accounting. Who cares what the cost of a hobby is if expenses for shelter, food, health, education etc for the family are covered. Hobbies are engaged in for pleasure not profit. I reload for fun and it interests me. 'nuff said.

Which Powder for .223 for plinking

Which Powder for .223 pliking VN140 works for me with the 69 Nosler and a 8" twist but the 12" twist likes Benchmark with the 55 Nosler.

    Pet Loads by Ken Waters

While Waters' Pet Loads may be dated in many cases it is as valuable as Hatcher's Notebook. Yes many loads are obsolete but his experiences are timeless. His writing style is crisp and to the point. A great resource.

Lower velocity .45 Colt Loads using H110??

Get your self one or more reloading manuals and do some homework. Use established and tested loads. By asking your question you display a lack of experience and the need for more background in the field of reloading.

RC, I am curious as to the primer you are using and whether you feel they make a difference in accuracy in you load. Thanks

    Pet Load for 7Mm-08

    I have experimented with many components and all are safe in my BOSS equipped Browning. All use R-P Brass. I love this cartridge! a) 140 Sierra Spit/ 42.0 W748/ Rem 9.5/ Result 3/.27" b) 130 Barnes XBT/ 48.0 H414/ Rem 9.5/ Result 3/.70" c) 130 Barnes XBT/ 41.0 IMR 4064/ GM210 Match/...

    Is 59 grains of H4350 safe for a 180g bullet in a 30-06?

Like NC said, get a good reloading book. Mine shows that the load you ask about is excessive. Additionally, when you change one component you need to restart at the starting load again and work up the load in your firearm. I don't mean to "talk down" to you but in the interest of safety....

    .223 brass length

Reservecop, Sinclair makes a Chamber Length Gage Insert. Take a full length resized case, trim the case .100 shorter than the published minimum and chamfer both the inside and outside of the case neck. Next, drill out the primer hole a little larger. This step is necessary to remove the...

    .223 brass length

Have you measured your chamber to know the length of the cartridge portion? It may be different than the "standard of 1.750." If you are only loading for this particular .223 that may affect your decision as to the trim length you want to use. Sizing all of the cases to the same length in...
