I'm looking to deactivate a rifle for use as a theatrical prop. The barrel will be cut down and I don't want to deal with all the NFA SBR rules that would normally apply. I know it needs to be made permanently inoperable. I've searched around, but the only thing I can really find are rules on...
Most importantly Deeds will never support a state assertion of its 10th amendment powers whereas McDonnell will. If you want to keep the ATF out of intra-state transactions you need a leader who will stand up to the feds.

About halfway down the page:
Since the AR has a threaded muzzle, under this law one can assume that it has been designed so that it can "accommodate a silencer." (Not legal advice)
Virginia also has a law against...
Actually it is a Virginia law - you must prove citizenship/permanent residency to purchase an assault rifle. This law is not new.

Forgive a newbie question, but what is the benefit of a midlength rifle versus the M4/carbine length? Does that extra couple inches before the gas block make a difference in how it shoots?
I can't speak for his gun stance - all I know is that crime has dropped - dramatically. Richmond used to be the murder capital of the south. It's not anymore. I am sad to see him go and worry about the future of the city.
As far as Wilder, I did vote for him. I can't stand his stance on...
As a Virginia resident I am obviously biased towards my side of the border. But you will only be renting. So in the end it really won't matter for now. They both have reciprocity - so where ever you live you can carry in both states. Since you won't be buying a house yet you may want to...
When he was first arrested a few months ago it was reported that if he had simply declared that he had the ammo and that it was a gift - he would have been completely within the law. He just didn't know he had to declare it.

Even the extremely anti-gun editorial board said they shouldn't protest...
They did their LIE-in. The administration let them do it since they moved it back two hours after the memorial service. They did it at the far side of the drillfield near the duckpond.

I have really been thinking we need to use the anti's medicine against them. The next time they do one of their LIE-ins. We need to show up with 32 people as well. Instead of protesting their LIE-in, we hold one right next to them. Except for ours, we have signs like "Here lie disarmed...
Just goes to show you to watch what you say on a public forum. He might actually be nuts. But he might also just be a normal guy who got a little carried away with his internet commando-ness. Some people think they post in anonymity - this proves they do not. So don't post anything in a...
