(TX) 11 Mad Max fans are arrested (they were a militia....)

I guess that the truck driver never saw the movie. He would have known exactly what to do -- run them all down. You gotta love the sound of motorcycles flying apart under tractor trailer wheels! Watch-Six

Real world question - is the Kahr MK9 really a pocket gun

I have pocket carried a PM9 since they came out. I just added a PM40. They certainly weigh more than a Kel Tec, but they are IMHO still ok in a pocket. Watch-Six

10 round 1911 mags, which ones??

I have a few of the McCormick ten round mags. I have never had any trouble with any of them. Watch-Six

What do you CCW in .40 cal?

Kahr PM40 in Uncle Mike's pocket holster. Watch-Six

Taurus PT 111 Ti vs Kahr PM9

I have both a Kahr PM9 and a PM40. FWIW I don't think either one of them has bad recoil. Watch-Six

    Accurate .270 win round?

I'm surprised that a Sako would shoot that poorly with any commercial ammo. I have not used a 270 for a long time, but I have owned several (Winchesters, Remingtons, and one Howa.) They all shot very well with 130 gr bullets. I usually handloaded Sierras. Definitely try another type of ammo...

Colt Mustang: available in 9mm? If not, what's next best thing?

Jeff has already mentioned the fine Rohrbaugh. Another alternative is the Kahr PM9 or better yet the PM40. Best. Watch-Six

    Raven .25ACP?

I can't believe that I am going to wade into this and actually defend a Raven, but here goes. 30 years ago when I was young and broke I bought one because I could afford it. I later gave it away. Three decades later I reinherited the darn thing. Laugh if you want, but the silly thing works...

Want A NIB Browning HiPower But Worried About...

None of my three BHPs had a "bad" trigger, but none of them felt like a tuned 1911 either. Removing the idiotic mag disconnect helped them all greatly. I'm sure that a good smith could get them better still, but they are certainly not "bad". FWIW, Mr. Camp is an expert on the subject of...

Kimber Tac Pro II in 9mm

Mike, I recently bought one too. I really like it. I had a full sized Kimber 9mm Target II. It was just too heavy for a 9mm in my book so I traded it on the lighter pistol. The stainless Target II didn't recoil much at all in 9mm. Best. Watch-Six

    1911 Ammo Reliability

My pet (high end) 1911s work perfectly with everything. However, I would probably stick with ball ammo in unproven pistols. Watch-Six

Would you sell a Ruger 22/45 to buy a Trailside?

No. I have owned two early Trailsides. Neither one worked right. The Ruger .22 pistols that I have owned have always worked perfectly. Personally, I prefer Browning Buckmarks to both of them. Watch-Six

Congratulations. Everybody should have a BHP in their collection. Watch-Six

FL guide rod on a defensive 1911?

I don't like them. I had a two piece one on a Springfield "loaded" constantly unscrew while firing and foul up the pistol. Watch-Six

Tell Me About The Buck Mark-Chime In Owners

I've owned three. Still have one. I like them. The only small problem is that the screws that hold the rear sight plate on can sometimes shoot loose. Just keep an allen wrench handy and tighten them once in a while. You could use locktite, but then taking the pistol apart might become a...
